Tropikoons Kittens

The price of our Maine Coon kittens starts at $2,000 and a reservation fee of $200 is highly recommended to be put on a waiting list for a kitten from the next available litter.  The fee is applied to the cost of the kitten but is not refundable if you decide not to buy a kitten. Kittens may go to their new homes when they are 12 weeks old. I do not ship kittens but, I can usually find a courier to transport them, if requested. I am located in South Florida on the east coast near West Palm Beach Airport. From time to time we have retired breeding cats available.  These cats make wonderful pets!  If you are interested in an adult Maine Coon, please let me know.

Tropikoons kittens are FELV/FIV negative and are also free of bacterial diseases and parasites. They have had their first set of immunizations for Feline Rhinotrachetis-Calci-Panoleukopenia at 8 weeks and another at 11 weeks, been given a wormer and are certified healthy by a veterinarian.  I do not recommend the Feline Leukemia or FIP vaccine as neither are necessary for indoor-only cats. Kittens must be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age, kept indoors and I strongly recommend NO declawing.  Our kittens and cats have all been trained to use a scratching post and will not scratch furniture if provided one.

We are especially proud that our adult breeding stock (as well as most of the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents) are screened annually for HCM.  Screening via ultrasound for HCM is currently the recommended method to aid in the reduction of this inherited disease. Tropikoons Maine Coons cannot guarantee that a cat will never have this condition, but we are dedicated to making every effort to produce the healthiest Maine Coon kittens possible.
